24.10 release is now live!
We just released our October 2024 update for LMN. This one has invoicing improvements as well as new dashboards. As always, you can read the full release notes or contact support with any questions.
Invoicing
We want to make things as easy as possible for your hardworking admin staff.
The new release completely reimagines invoicing workflow. You wanted more options when billing customers, and we’re happy to oblige!
Streamlined communication
Our newest update lets you add multiple billing contacts and recipients to a single invoice. This makes it much easier to bill for commercial work where you need to loop in multiple contacts – like say an entire account team.
Customizable invoice emails – and reminders!
Personalize your invoicing emails to make the billing process better.
Adjust the subject line, email body copy, and add additional recipients to your invoicing emails. Through personalization, you can create a billing process that offers more transparency to your customers. You can also preview the email before sending to make sure that everything appears just how you want it to.
These updates are baked into the CRM – where you can see if your contacts have viewed the billing email or the invoice itself., where you can assign one or more default billing contacts for each customer. Under the “Portal Activity” panel, you’ll be able to check if your customer has viewed the invoice email – or the invoice itself.
Analytics – new and improved!
Save your dashboard views
This update introduces powerful new tools to streamline your workflow and provide clearer insights. You can now save individual “views” of your most frequently used filter combinations and dashboards views for quick access, allowing you to reload your favorite data setups with one click.
Two new dashboards
LMN now has two new built-in dashboards.
- Job Costing by Parent Estimate lets you view job costs reports by parent estimate. If your estimates have a relationship set to enhancement or change order, these estimates and their jobs will now group together for simpler reporting
- Estimate Item Analysis reports on the detailed line items in your estimates, no matter if they’re materials, equipment, labor, subs, or anything else. This dashboard gives you insight into what is being proposed or sold across multiple estimates.
Updated user interfaces
We’ve updated the color schemes and visual consistency across dashboards to enhance the readability of your data. These changes make it easier to interpret important metrics and trends at a glance.
There’s more in this update, so be sure to read the full release notes. Thank you for using LMN!
