Description


The Event & Marketing Planner provides support to the Director of Sales & Marketing in all aspects of planning, coordinating and executing activities related to specific internal, employee facing events, such as business meetings, seminars, and most importantly, trade shows.
The Planner is responsible for developing detailed project plans, show flows and ensuring meetings and events are executed efficiently, on time and within established budgets.
A part of this role involves strong relationships and contract negotiations with various external vendors, hotels and the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities


  • Engage in contract negotiations.
  • Build strong business relationships in order to develop and execute creative and innovative events.
  • Utilize interpersonal, leadership and project management skills.
  • Display advanced knowledge of meeting and event planning.
  • Develop and implement show flows.
  • Work both independently and in a team environment with internal and external partners.
